Help me make a calendar

I'm desperate to have a calendar on my site. As much as I dislike THIS (http://www.split-personality.net/) site I like her calendar. I've tried looking at her coding to try to work out how to do it but failing miserably. Can anyone help a dumb blonde just getting into all of this :o

The calandar has been created simply by using a table
