My computer has started acting up lately. When I start up every morning I get a "Your computer may be at risk" warring. It's a windows security alert wanting me to turn on "Windows Automatic Updates" but my computer won't let me turn this function on. Also, ever since this started happening I'm getting pop ups whenever I'm on IE. About one every 5 mins. and they are full page pop ups. One that I get everytime I turn on IE says something about "iacas internet explorer" at the top of it. I've check my add/remove programs and don't see any unusual programs listed there. I have my pop up blocker turned on.

Does anyone have a clue as to what I might do to fix these two problems?

Install and use Spybot (http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html) and CCleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com/). Always good first steps.

install both of those and look into whats wrong with your current firewall, if you have one installed.
