Is there a way to make a redirect script that preloads images?

Okay, I have this one webpage that I am working on, but whenever I open it, the images take a while to load. And when I say a while, I mean a while. I have tried loading it on other PC's and it still takes a while to load. Is there any possible way to make a redirect page that preloads all of the images so when the page actually opens, the images are right there?

What kind of images and what are you trying to do with them???

Think of it like this - your images are taking too long to load, and so you want to preload them on an earlier page ... which does nothing else except preload, then redirect.

So ... if you find it too long to wait for the images now.. imagine how much longer it will seem when you all have to look at is a blank page ...

I think the real thing is to reduce the size of your images.
