The reason the adds aren't showing is because you have commented them out

and why cant i have the DotA Song?
1. Its annoying
2. Its bad practise to have background music, use a media player.
3. Song may be copyrighted.

It's so bad IE refuses to open it. Seriously, it's almost complete evil.

Anyway, from le code:
<!-- You will NOT be able to see the ad on your site! To preview, paste the code up on your site, then add #chitikatest to the end of your URL in your browser's address bar. Example: www.yourwebsite.com#chitikatest (http://www.yourwebsite.com#chitikatest). This will show you what the ad would look like to a user who is interested in "mortgages." -->

What does that mean? Complete nonsence.

I don't see the ad because I am using AdBlock in firefox, your cousin might be using software to block ads.

check your IE settings, IE sucks, have a button or banner ad saying best viewed in FF latestversionhere with a link to it :D
also IE says
This problem can be caused by a variety of issues, including:

Internet connectivity has been lost.
The website is temporarily unavailable.
The Domain Name Server (DNS) is not reachable.
The Domain Name Server (DNS) does not have a listing for the website's domain.
If this is an HTTPS (secure) address, click Tools, click Internet Options, click Advanced, and check to be sure the SSL and TLS protocols are enabled under the security section.

For offline users

Nothing speaks more "amateur" than anything saying "best viewed in Firefox" and I always view those Get Firefox buttons unfavourably.
Well, you could always try getting rid of those annoying frames. Or try stripping away the javascript.

Why is it amateurish? Why is it I should not recommend them the best browser?
Sorry to be such a NOOB!! (http://www.codingforums.com/showthread.php?t=141509)

If I were a Mod, this would serve as the basis for an infraction!

Recommending FF makes it look like you didn't try very hard to get IE support for your site, which is why most people put these kinds of suggestions, at least back in the day of the web. Maybe if it was less subtle and looked more like an ad... Just don't put "This website is best viewed with Firefox 2.0.14 or better". I make sure to open the site in other browsers when I see messages like that, just to see how bad it looks.

This isn't about how the page looks in IE its about how it loads....

In response to the OP, this script from chitika is causing IE to abort:

<script src="http://scripts.chitika.net/eminimalls/amm.js" type="text/javascript">
</script>
If you take out all 3 occurrences, your site runs fine. You may want to check with chitika to get support for your ads in IE.

Wow Rafiki, as long as you have been around here, I'd think you'd know better. A good web designer will do their very best to create a site that displays and loads correctly in as many browsers as possible to accommodate a larger and more diverse audience. If your site MUST utilize a technology only available to a specific browser or set of browsers, then that should really be the only time that you make the user aware that they may not be able to utilize that specific feature of your site without such browser(s). But even so, giving a user an alternative in case they do not want to change over is preferred and more courteous.

Shane you just said that it is the ads causing IE to abort? well thats nothing to do with his codes...
And by saying that I didn't mean that people shouldn't take care in making sure their websites are cross browser compatable, I give up with this conversation, just stop replying commenting on what I said...

Shane you just said that it is the ads causing IE to abort? well thats nothing to do with his codes...
:confused: It has everything to do with his "codes". He has placed Chitika's script 3 times in his source code of the page www.southparknetwork.net. I noticed that when it is removed, his site runs correctly. Thus, if he would like to continue using their ad script, he needs to seek support with Chitika to find out why their script is aborting under IE.
