The site works (http://www.thinkpanama.com/panama-weekly) wonderfully in all browsers except IE 7 (have not tried 6). I am attaching the CSS I am using as well as a patch for ie. I am wondering if this patch I acquired from another site could be modified for use.

Here is some screenshots (http://thinkpanama.litmusapp.com/pub/cd604c5)of how the site looks like in different browsers. Note a versions of IE render the same suggesting to me the problem is IE specific not a version difference. Could someone pls set me straight on how to proceed.

I think you should validate your code. the w3c validator has found 16 errors on the page you linked to.

Thanks for the reply and have taken your advice and will clean up the validation issues but don't you think that the problem lies a little deeper?

The header is appearing in the browser but not the body could it be a problem with the margins?

What if I added this to the start of the CSS :

* {
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
}

or/both

<!--[if lt IE 8]>
<script src="http://ie7-js.googlecode.com/svn/version/2.0(beta3)/IE8.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<![endif]-->

I thank you for your time in replying I am really pulling my hair out here on something that is probably staring me in the face.

lol, I know exactly what 'puuling hair out feels like :D

It is likely that it may 'lie a little deeper' but unless the validation issues are fixed, they might still cause errors in display which might leave you totally bald. lol

Reply to me so that this thread will show up for me tomorrow. I can't look at it tonight but tomorrow I will try to make time.
