How can I make the select drop down look like the text field? the thin blue border around it, and stuff...

Browser support will vary and you'll have to drop 'and stuff'.

Border works in Moz, Opera 7 and, I *think*, IE6 Win.

no border support in IE/win for <select> as of yet.
