border-spacing: 1px;
border-style: outset outset outset outset;
border-color: #99b3b4 #99b3b4 #99b3b4 #99b3b4;
border-collapse: collapse;
background-color: #e4ebeb;
}

im trying to padd the top so there is a gap inbetween the banner above it and my table but it does not seem to want to padd it :S

You need to edentify the measurement. You just had the number 10 there.

You need to apply padding for the table-cell <td> in which your content resides.

If you dont mind me asking, is it necassary to use a table in this instance? Is there a way to use a div, or is it tabular data?
