No Javascript

hi,
I need to create a popup on a button click that will show an editable list as an php page. i can create it using javascript, but since it is an important part i dont want to use javascript for this to avoid any javascript popup blockers. Although i know that very few block it now but i still dont want to take ne risk.

So is there a way i can create a popup window without using javascript?
If ne body knows plz tell me.

No, it’s not possible. But it’s also nothing to worry about. If you follow the principles of progressive enhancement (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Progressive_Enhancement) or graceful degradation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graceful_degradation) in combination with unobtrusive JavaScript (http://onlinetools.org/articles/unobtrusivejavascript/index.html) you would provide a plain link to a separate page with the editable list, and you would just enhance that functionality by calling the page with an AJAX request upon clicking the link for those browsers that support it (so you don’t go to the new page but the new page is loaded as DHTML popup (http://dhtmlpopups.webarticles.org/) on the current page).

It’s all just a mater of error checking. You could implement a check whether or not a request is blocked by whatever software, and based on that display the plain link to the other site or the DHTML popup.
