I didn't realize how hard it is to search for tutorials/tips/ideas on how to CSS your search results, because you use the words 'search results'. So why not come to 'teh forumz'? What I'm looking to customize is more like product results than page results (more Amazon, less Google), though these products have no images associated to them. The results are pure text, with the exception that some will have an associated PDF so I use a small (15x15) icon to indicate this. I want to stay away from things like jQuery and mootools because the client doesn't need it to be all that flashy. I just want to use pure CSS.
Does anyone have any ideas or links to tutorials/tips/ideas out on 'teh internetz'? Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately i dont know of any stand-alones to install on a CD that will display a movie on another users platform. I do believe the best way is to possibly use Flash, or there is a multimedia program still around called, "Director". It uses the shockwave program and will play the video. Possibly someone else knows a better suggestion.
I think you posted to the wrong thread

Styling search results using CSS is no different than styling any other page. CSS styles HTML, so just make sure your search results are outputting the HTML you want, then use CSS to make it look how you want it to. If you need help, the best thing to do is post the HTML or a link to the page that's displaying the results.

Perform a search to see the current results, which is what I am refering to. The current look is acceptable but I wanted ideas to come up with a more elegant way to display them
I also need to flag some as NEW and would like ideas for making them stand out without distracting from the rest of the results

Did you fix it? because it looks great to me. the green color text is a nice unobtrusive way to distinguish between the new results and others. The text, and the layout is very clean, simple, but not boring. And the whole site in general is very nicely done. :)

Well, I don't see any flags...
It's nice how it is, but the description is moved far out of the natural line the line reads on, so it's hard to see.
