hey again,
now, i need help positioning my navigatins, content box, and banner.
so it's like:


banner

navigation
content box

navigation

Positioning with css is easy.



<style>
.(whatever your class is) {position:absolute; top:50&#37;; left:50%;}
</style>


So you change the thing i have put in red, so then you can position it.

It's truly a bad idea to start with absolute positions without checking the other alternatives, as it may end up in a complete mess.

Well it is how i do it, because normally it works, unless you have a background image.
So if you have a background image it would probably to do relative, but you can do both...

You really should explore all forms of positioning instead of automatically going for absolute. Absolute positioning is a very, very useful thing to have, but most people simply don't get it and complain when you have to stack one or more things on top of each other (for example, a footer). But you also have basic static positioning using margins, floats...

yeah absolutely.. a definitely no no to use absolute positioning in a page unless there's no other options.. absolute positioning can pretty much destroy the whole layout... specially if you're content is dynamic.. for me.. try to use floats or relative ones..
