Hi All,

Can anyone help me?

I have developed a website, which was needed to be viewed in several languages. It's currently a huge overhead to maintain it. For example the same content is viewed in 4 different languages, meaning that I have to have 4 different html pages for each language. If I need to change anything I need to do it in all 4 places and also considering that I am not fluent in each language I need to use an online translator to help me with the text on each non-english page.

Can anyone advise on what I can do to minimize the updating needed? Is there some freeware out there that would automatically translate 1 english webpage to different languages and create a webpage? Or am I cluching at straws here? Or even is there PHP (preferably) or JavaScript code that code do something for me?

Thanks in advance

Col

Google offers a free webpage translation service. Its not perfect by any means, but anything automatic is still far from being quality translation.

Sounds like a job for databases (MySQL &c) and server side (PHP or similar). You could fetch the content from a database depending on the language requested.
