Charset problem

hey everyone,

Im having a problem with my charset, it seems to be at a default of UTF-8 and isnt working properly. but when I change it to ISO 8859-1 it works good but I get this "  " at the top of the page which is throwing everything off.


would anyone have any Ideas on how to fix this??

Try to find in your editor how to save your file in utf-8 without BOM (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Byte-order_mark):
The UTF-8 representation of the BOM is the byte sequence EF BB BF, which appears as the ISO-8859-1 characters  in most text editors and web browsers not prepared to handle UTF-8.
