Code/Project Challenge

OK.. where is the Idea...
I've seen closelly the code challenge threads going around.. and I started thinking... there are some really good programers coming to this forum
why not get them all together and do something cool..Something BIG... a full open source project, for a web app.. or something like that.. I was thingking something along the lines of
Artificial Inteligence (A chaterbot or a chess game) Or a game (a Casino with slot machines and blackjack..) or whatever ..
the point is
since these guys are addicted to programing.. like me (or else I guess they wouldn't come where so often).. why not try and do something like that. a full app.. it could be fun, and people could learn form the experience... And is something that would give a unique value to this forum...

I have no complete Ideas about it , but it sounded like a good Idead in my mind... And I would like to know what you think about it..

not shure if this is the correct forum.. this was really intended for the jscript programers... and maybe in where some of them will miss the thread

Id do that, im pretty strong in jscript. and javascript technically lol.

well tempest1 is seems it's just you and me do you have any idea for a project????
I don't have any special preferences but I would like something that would be a challenge...
but since making the analysis, may be a limitation in this case..(since we can't get together for a practical discution) ether is a simple thing that does not require must analysis or must be something that can be divided into modules that can be developed separatly... Still any Ideas are welcome...
About the 'sharing' of the code will be discussed later...
