Validating Will Wreck My Site! :( [Archive]

I'm really annoyed - I went to validate my site - did everything they said, 0 errors and everything went haywire! I DONT EVEN HAVE A BACKUP OF MY SITE!!!

Everything was perfectly aligned and now it's all over the place!

Ive validated my CSS and it's gone weird - even more weird... Ive spent ages on doing my site and it all goes to waste.

Always save and backup. Version control systems are your friend.

That being said, post updated code for more help, or better yet give a link. Most members (me included) aren't clairvoyant.
