Need coding advice

Hello, I am not sure if I am posting this in the correct area.
I couldn't find any better area so if I posted in th e wrong
section could a mod please move it?

I would like to make a script that makes a specific web page
come to the front every 5-10 minutes. What language would
I use to do something like this? I don't know how to code and
would like to learn. So I figured this would be a good project
to get me started.

What do you know so far?

Ok I will explain a little more. I play a broswer game that
I would like to make it come to the front of the windows
every 5 or 10 minutes so that I remember to check on it
every now and then.

I really don't know much of anything atm. I just know HTML.
I am reading a book "Beginning Web Programming with HTML,
XHTML and CSS", however, I don't think that this will help me
to make the script I want to make.
