If you create a site in Flash is it necessary to create a site map for the search engines?

Yes. That is why I don't think it is necessary. The site has been indexed already.

I think you're right, no need. I mean, some SE may use it for your indexing, so it might not be a bad idea, but I have no idea if it would really provide any help to your listing.
