How can i convert powerpoint slide shows( .pps) to any media files ie.,

to .avi or .mpeg video file format?

any application is available?

I have got the application what i need!

It is Camstudio which can record the system screen events.
I ran the .pps presentation with full screen mode and recorded the same with this camstudio. the output file has come in .avi format.

Camstudio captures whatever is output to your video card and exports it to an avi file. Unfortunately, it might not have too high a quality. Also, if you move your mouse during the period, it captures that too. So, it's not actually a converter. I'll advise you use a real converter like Future posted.
