Sandbox errors on many high end flash sitesnikos101 04-26-2008, 11:45 AM I keep getting some Sandbox errors on many high end flash sites that I visit, could there be something wrong with my browser or flash player or OS? gnomeontherun 04-27-2008, 11:08 PM Could you give an example? nikos101 05-05-2008, 08:32 AM My own site (http://www.ecommercetotal.co.uk/) for example SecurityError: Error #2121: Security sandbox violation: SoundMixer.computeSpectrum: http://www.ecommercetotal.co.uk/banner.swf cannot access http://mail.google.com/mail/im/sound.swf. This may be worked around by calling Security.allowDomain. at flash.media::SoundMixer$/computeSpectrum() at Spectrum/update() at Mp3Player/onTimer() at flash.utils::Timer/_timerDispatch() at flash.utils::Timer/tick() What does google have to do with it? :( nikos101 05-05-2008, 08:43 AM Sorry the error that I am getting now is SecurityError: Error #2122: Security sandbox violation: SoundMixer.computeSpectrum: http://localhost/ecommercetotal/ecommercetotal.co.uk/banner.swf cannot access http://www.ecommercetotal.co.uk/mp3/track1.mp3. A policy file is required, but the checkPolicyFile flag was not set when this media was loaded. at flash.media::SoundMixer$/computeSpectrum() at Spectrum/update() at Mp3Player/onTimer() at flash.utils::Timer/_timerDispatch() at flash.utils::Timer/tick() gnomeontherun 05-05-2008, 05:13 PM Flash doesn't allow you load load certain things from other sites. Ergo, you are getting this message about a policy file. You probably need to have a crossdomain.xml file available, google it for more information because its confusing for me to try and explain. |
