I have never used Javascript before, but I know about it.

I use Dreamweaver 8 and I would like to have easy access to features that are possible with Ajax and Adobe's Spry without needing Dreamweaver CS3. Is it possible to download the files from the links below and use their features in Dreamweaver 8? Sorry if this post is confusing, I am confused myself.

Ajax: http://www.asp.net/ajax/
Spry: http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/spry/

I am currently just playing around with designing web pages and I would like to use the functions that are possible with these frameworks on web pages which I create.

are you talkin about importing a site from dreamweaver to those programs, editing them then exporting back dreamweaver? Or are you wanting to use those programs in Dreamweaver like a plugin, because i know that you probably cant do that. ALthough Dreamveaver has a good spry helper/creater in the program!!

I asked Adobe and they told me it can't be done. I need Dreamweaver CS3 unless I wish to write all the Spry code myself in Dw 8.
