social networking

does anyone know where i should start in attempting to create a social networking site? what do you recommend i start doing?

Well the first thing I would do is pick which one of the dozen or so threads you have have already started now asking about how to do a facebook, dating, social networking site and stick with that thread instead of crossposting and creating multiple threads in the same forum.

People keep giving you advice then you go and create a new thread asking almost the same thing each time.
