Onload workaround in IE?

Hey guys, I'm new here. I'm hoping there is someone that knows how to fix my problem.

First of all I tried to implement a lightbox solution that used Mootools and also have SWFobject in the page, didn't work.

So I found a solution called leightweight box that works flawlessly inpage with my flash. Now, to get the darn thing to automatically popup when the page loads, a different story. Flawless in Firefox, doesn't even think about working in Internet Explorer.

Here is the page I am working with:
http://thecomiccollective.com/Video_Games/Trailers/Alphabetical/B/Bionic_Commando/VG_Trailer.php

Here is the external lightbox JS:

for(i = 0; i < lbox.length; i++) {

}
}

// Add in markup necessary to make this work. Basically two divs:
// Overlay holds the shadow
// Lightbox is the centered square that the content is put into.
function addLightboxMarkup() {

bod = document.getElementsByTagName('body')[0];

overlay = document.createElement('div');
overlay.id = 'overlay';

bod.appendChild(overlay);
}

And here is the Javascript in the header and the body tag that autoloads the function:

<head>
<script type='text/javascript'>
function lightboxer()
{
new lightbox();
lb.initCallable('lightbox1');
lb.activate();
}
window.onload = lightboxer;
</script>

</head>
<body onLoad="lb = new lightbox();lb.initCallable('lightbox1');lb.activate();">

If anyone can figure this out, Great! I do give credit to the people that help. There should be a credits page on the new site when it launches :)

Thanks,
Axertion

Why do you call the same operations via window.onload and onLoad attribute of body.
I believe the window.onload = lightboxer; would be enough and you could remove the other one.

I tried that man, it didn't work. Even still I don't think having them both would conflict right?

But why do you need to call the same operations twice?

I don't. I called it once, then twice then a different way ect.

Can you figure this out please? I'm no JS expert and I haven't a clue.

I just need this script:

http://eight.nl/files/leightbox/

To open automatically when the page loads. Do you know how?

Thanks
