Program Help

Hi guys, I am new here. I need help with a program I found while browsing the web. What it does is copies lines of text from a designated .txt file and then pastes them into a browser window and then simulates me pressing the enter key. Just so you guys know I am not experienced at editing programs at all so if you could help me out that would be great!

hmm, source would be much more helpful. not sure how many people here are going to be willing to download & run an executable without knowing its origin or what it actually does. also, if you're asking a question about modifying/writing a program, the language it's written in and frameworks it's using are usually required knowledge so that your post goes to the right forum so that the right people can help you. one can only assume that this exe is intended to be a cgi-bin application, which would mean that it's purpose is not to run on a client side page but instead to return data (or a web page) for interpretation by a client-side script (or just for the user to view). even if the result of this application is a fully featured website instead of just a datasource, the portion you would want to modify would be the actual script being generated by the application & in order to do that, we would need to see the source code. alternatively, if this is a client side app that plugs information into a web page we're dealing with another story entirely, but we still need to know what language it's written in & have access to the source code. sorry man, not trying to be counter-productive or insulting, but we need more to go on to be able to help.

p.s. if this is a self-extracting archive with a project inside, why not make it a rar instead so that we have to extract it ourselves & not have to worry about rootkits/viri/(spy/mal)ware/etc.?

you just zipped the executable.... source code, zip the source code, if you don't have any then i can't help, not going through and dissasembling code from somewhere else, not only is it possibly illegal, the answer you'd get probably wouldn't either work or make any sense, at least not from me anyways.
