Well, I haven't been here long, and am in no way as good as even 3/4ths of the people here, but I think there could be a lot done with this site. I think it'd be nice to start a project here if anyone wants to volunteer, collaborate, etc.

Not suggesting it even start, just seeing if anyone agrees with the idea of doing more.

I've been to a lot of programming forums, and here you always seem to get quick, on the spot answers, and it is really nice.

So I dunno, maybe some more added to it, things like script downloads, full tutorials on various languages/functions/data entry/computers... and such. Just a lot of potential being used on just helping, maybe it could be used to setting up a permanent helping tool?

Sure, there's lots of sites out there that offer this, but the programmers here seem to know what they're doing, how to get it done, and in a timely manner as well.

Just an idea to throw out there. If not, understandable, the site is great as is, but there is a lot that could be done :P!

The problem is a lot of us don't have the time to write lengthy tutorials. And if we do write them who is to say its right? Then you need people to critique them. We do have forums for posting complete php scripts and complete javascripts.

Yeah, I understand time being an issue, thing is you're getting a lot of people coming in with one post and then leaving.

Understandable, but they don't even check responses. There should be a way to get more... dedicated members. Quite a few already, but there should be more to catch more eyes, get more attraction, and eventually traffic.

Time being an issue, yes, understandable, so what we do is pour through pages and pages of threads looking for helpful data to compile.

You know, something like that. Interesting, and useful, yet practical.
