FTP that verifies downloads

Is there a FTP program that actually verifies downloaded files including file queues have all been downloaded and that the entire file was downloaded?

Also for uploads as well? I have been using CoffeCup and CuteFTP and am so tired of messing with upgrades with dozens upon dozens of missed and empty files.

I came across SmartFTP and am trying that out, right now, but did not read anything about its "abilities" yet.

Only because there are so many ftp programs out there. And to try all of them is impossible. I use Dreamweaver and its decent about uploading and downloading. It gives errors if the file didn't get uploaded.

No, you can't verify by FTP the integrity of the file that was received.
