What's the mac equivalent of an .exe ebook?

If I make an .exe ebook for PC, how do I make an executable version for mac - is there one? This eBook is a web based format, not .pdf.

Mac programs are derived from/related to Unix, and therefore you’ll need to program them with that in mind. I’m not a programmer, though, and I can only say that executable applications usually have the .app extension.
