A form wonít do anything without a server side script that is processing the data you put into the form fields. If you look at the source code of the first link you posted youíll see this:

<form method=get action="search.cgi">

The search.cgi is a file on the server that has no other purpose than processing the data you put into the form and give an appropriate output after submitting the form. You canít look into the source code of these kinds of files, though, since they are processed on the server, not in the browser (unlike HTML, CSS, and JavaScript).

Well you already posted this in the work offers forum but its going to require some type of server side language such as php, or asp. It depends on the current site. Also the database type would need to be known. This isn't something you are going to be able to knock out in an hour. It might take a few days if not longer. I guess the question is you don't happen to know PHP do you?

I'd suggest checking with your hosting company - they may some useful scripts pre-installed that you can use.
