Inigoesdr 02-28-2008, 04:47 AM It's a GIF image. rangana 02-28-2008, 04:54 AM http://i21.tinypic.com/5cc2uc.jpg Since when has jpgs been animated? Is this new or am I just dumb? You make me laugh :p The name of the image is http://i21.tinypic.com/5cc2uc.jpg.gif Inigoesdr 02-28-2008, 01:51 PM The name of the image is http://i21.tinypic.com/5cc2uc.jpg.gif http://i21.tinypic.com/5cc2uc.jpg.png works too. What you both are missing is that the extension doesn't determine the type of file. The server is sending the file headers, which tell the browser it's a GIF image. ;) abduraooft 02-28-2008, 02:20 PM But there is some other trick, otherwise http://i21.tinypic.com/5cc2uc.whatever , http://i21.tinypic.com/5cc2uc etc. won't work! Yes, they're using a rewrite module or something similar. oesxyl 02-28-2008, 09:18 PM http://i21.tinypic.com/5cc2uc.jpg Since when has jpgs been animated? Please check the link below. http://www.nationstates.net/images/flags/uploads/pansophia.jpg Save that image in your computer and view it with windows fax and picture viewer or a similar (not a browser) program. Take a look at the proprieties. Isn't it an animated .jpg file? I'll be waiting for your answer or email. Make a .txt document, and rename it to whatever you want, open it with a text editor and it will still show you your original .txt document contents. It's the same with images. It's just a renamed .gif. Yay 10-15-2008, 05:50 PM and yes, you can rename the filetype to anything. and here is the code you will get if you rename it as a .txt ÿØÿà JFIF ` ` ÿÛ C $.' ",#(7),01444'9=82<.342ÿÛ C etc.. if anyone was wondering... bugmenot 09-11-2009, 06:39 PM http://cache-foo-10.gawkerassets.com/gawker/assets/images/4/2009/09/500x_trippy.jpg Every software I used say it is a JPEG. Apostropartheid 09-11-2009, 09:27 PM Ahahahaha! It took me a while to work this out so either you're quite clever or fell for the same trick I did. It is a JPEG, and it's a still image. It's an optical illusion. If you move your eyes, it appears to move. Fix your gaze on a single point and you'll see that it's still (or zoom in closely.) effpeetee 09-12-2009, 10:06 AM Ahahahaha! What do you see it doing? Frank _Aerospace_Eng_ 09-12-2009, 03:49 PM Maybe your eyes aren't as good as they used to be. The green things should appear to move if you look at the entire image scanning from point to point. If you stare at a single point nothing will move. effpeetee 09-12-2009, 06:02 PM Maybe your eyes aren't as good as they used to be. My eyes are dreadful. Showing all of their age. Frank. |
