Creating Java Applet (picture) using five shapes, help?

Well, I'm trying to create a java applet where I use five shapes to make a picture. It can be any picture, such as a car or house. I must use a circle, semi-oval, oval, rectangle, horizontal line..... How do I go about doing this?

I'm fairly new to coding and I only know html.......

oh, I also compile the files on jcreator 4.00 and jcreator pro 4.5

It would be nice if you had any sample codes I could see as an example.
