Ok, I have a feeling i'm going to get in trouble for posting here. But /technically/ i'm not developing in it yet.

I've got xampp portable on my memory stick, and I want to have ruby too. As I want to start learning it. I've googled for some guides but i can't find anything rock solid explaining how to install ruby with xampp.

Anyone here got any experience or can point me in the right direction:thumbsup:

I don't know how to install it into XAMPP but here is a step by step of how to install RoR on its own.

It's gotta be xampp. I don't have permission to install anything, but portable is allowed.

Currently there are no RoR add-ons for XAMPP so I don't know what to tell you. Perhaps just install to the XAMPP directory or something?

I can't install full-stop D: this laptop blocks installer .exe's. Ok er... damn thats disappointing. I'll see what I can do when I'm on the desktop tomorrow. Thanks :)

I did find this but again it requires you to install something. Perhaps use your home system to install to your jump drive and work from it that way?
