In IE6 there is a space between the logo and the nav bar, which in FF is flush (as it should be). I don't see what is causing this. PLease help!

Try this:

<!--[if lt IE 7]>
<style type="text/css">
.topsection {
overflow: hidden;
}
</style>
<![endif]-->

This will only apply the style to IE6.

*sigh* I canít stand this tag soup any longer. Put IE into standards mode to make it behave at least a little like the good browsers by putting a proper doctype (http://alistapart.com/articles/doctype/) into your document. You should actually be writing strictly standards conforming code ((X)HTML strict) but in your current case a transitional doctype may do it for now.
