I need some pointers on getting these layouts to work in IE6. So far, I am only able to get my layouts working on IE7 and FF. If anyone can provide any helpful links or advice on getting css to work in IE6, that would be great. I been using the asterik method but I know that isn't valid CSS.

Some of the main issues I noticed are the positioning of things and floats. Not sure what else is affected but I do appreciate any help.

currently I only have it set on my localhost - not public on the web. I'm just asking in general on the common fixes for IE6.

You need to be more specific. You are asking the equivalent of "how long is a piece of string?"

As a first step I would try searching this site and the web in general. If you search for info on conditional comments, and the Box Model that should get you started.

Post the html+CSS of a layout that you have at your end (Please use [code] http://www.codingforums.com/images/editor/code.gif to wrap your code)
