problem with my new tv..help

I know its not a computer question, but was wondering if someone good with eletronics could answer my question.

I bought a LCD samsung, however now after about 8 months i notice that the sound on my tv gets choppy but it only last 1 second or so, and sometimes the picture gets pixalated. It happens on every station.

On dvd's it never happens.

Does my cable service just suck ?

This seems to happen to digital cable occasionally, esp. with HD. This happens with my TV when the cable wants to screw with me. It's mainly on HD channels, but has happened on non-HD. I wouldn't blame your TV. I would definitely say it's a cable service issue.
