Problem when I try to open a disk

Hi there,
I'm facing a problem when it comes to opening a disk drive on my PC. Let's say I open My Computer, and I try to open my Local Disk C: or another external hard disk, the folder does not open...windows media player opens instead. I know it has to do with "File Types" (Tools -> Folder Options -> File Types -> Advanced) but I can't seem to restore it to the default settings.

Does anybody know how to solve this??

Actually, I've solved the problem regarding the Local Disk C: (I've set the value to "none" in the corresponding entry in the registery), but I still can solve the one regarding external hard disks: every time I click on it in My Computer, I get an "Open With" window.

Any ideas??
