can someone tell the good html code for chat room?:D

u can try phpopenchat if your server supports php. After googling I found http://sourceforge.net/projects/mahc/ which sounds very promising. HTML Chatter with IM, 2 player games etc. :)

You can't create a chat room with HTML alone—HTML is a markup language only; you would need to use a server-side language like PHP (or get creative with Javascript). Let us know which language you plan to use and I'll move this to an appropriate forum.

Very true. Excellent point.. I figure he will probly end up using a PHP chatter? Much easier I think. At any rate the one I linked up to is PHP if you wanna move it ASAP. ;)

I recommend you move your site to a host that supports PHP and offers a MySQL database. Lots of cheap ones out there such as www.ithium.net at only $25.00 a year, and I have seen some cheaper ones posted on CF.

Well if all you have is html and javascript, you won't be able to run a chatter off your own server. You would have to embed someone elses. Just search Google for FREE CHATTER and you should get something you can embed. I couldn't recommend one- I've not used them before. The first link I found was to http://chatter.flooble.com/ - but that one doesn't quite seem to work properly! Good luck mate :thumbsup:

Cool man! If you get a proper web host with php etc, we could set you up with many different chatters :) Also php is very powerful, you can make a much better website.

Just the hosting mate. You don't have to change your actual domain.com to something else to get PHP support :)
