i know you cant hide the source code, and i really dont want too either. My question is, and i hope this is the right area, is that how does google make it harder to read. If you you visit google (http://www.igoogle.com) and view their source, it is all jumbled up and compact. You can read it, but its hard to see where something ends and begins.

Any ways, i just wanted to know how they do it, is it done automatically or do they hand code it like that?

Thanks for any suggestions, and if this is the wrong place to post then go ahead and move me!!

Search for the term html source code compressor. I found this
http://www.trustmeher.net/freeware/htmltools02.htm

There is a compressor on that page. The problem however is when you want to edit the page. You will need to have an uncompressed backup copy on hand, edit it, recompress it. Googles search doesn't change very often if at all so for them compressing it is okay.

Yeah, well… is there a book called “Hide the source code for dummies”? Because I swear if you look at the right of the source code window you’ll note a scrollbar which, if you scroll it down, reveals the source code quite nicely.

And I wouldn’t buy a house from those guys ever (due to this website), nor would I get hosting from those other guys (due to their website and the website they created).
