New comp any suggustions?

Ok i really wanna buy a new comp for gaming but the gaming speced laptops/desktops are mainly $2000+. Are there any comps that have good RAM, hard drive, video card etc that are not too expenive. if you dont know of a specific can u link a site.

Um, I can get a fairly sturdy gaming computer (8800GT, Intel Core 2 Duo, 2GB RAM @ 667, 500GB hard disk) for £500 (~$1000). It's really not that hard to reformat and buy upgrade components for an existing PC, either.

If you're capable, my suggestion would be to build your own. I've been doing it since I've been using a Windows computer, and it works great. ;)
