CakePHP - Quick install Help

Hello,
I just set up CakePHP and I am very excited to start playing with it but i am having trouble getting it to work.

The main page is running fine (says it can connect to my database) but the css and & image files are not working! Anyone know why it wont read the css? I installed it to my localhost -> http://localhost/cake/

I then tried to make a simple application following this tutorial: http://www.sitepoint.com/article/application-development-cakephp but when I try to access the application at http://localhost/cake/notes it says that the page can not be found.

I got it working :-)

And i recommend cakePHP to everyone. I'm not that great at php but I managed make a login system (a basic one) in less the 10mins thanks to phpCake. This is great, can't wait to get a complete understanding of this framework!
