link locater

Hello,

I dont know what this type of functionality called.

say... I am at article which was published in August 2006

what I want is on the top of every page (there is some kind of link locater)
which shows me where I am.

Website.com > Articles > Year > Month

similar functionality can be seen at download.com
CNET.com > Download > Windows > MP3 & Audio Software

in this case I am looking for MP3 & Audio Softwares.

any help will be appreciated.

It is Breadcrumb (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breadcrumb_(navigation)), the implementation may depends o the logical arrangement of data/pages in your system.
