Its a weirdo script - I'm really not too sure how to describe it in a line subject.

okay, here it goes.....
Say I have a site with a flash intro.
Now for people with slow connections, that'll take a long time to load. so what me planning to do is wait for sometime (say 4 mins or so) and if the intro has not fully loaded by then, a popup or dialog box will appear asking them if they would like to skip the intro and move on to the main site.
maybe javascript is the answer, I'm not really sure.....
can i get some help on this ....

you could just add a "skip intro" link
but if you insist on javascript you could use settimeout

edit:
I got a skip intro thingy but then I realised the kind of audience I have on this site is mainly ppl who are kinda old; so they might never notice that link; and at the same time I cant make the link too big and loud ...coz then nobody would look at the intro lol
