Quickie - new site not showing with www.

Hi

just bought a domain, hosting, setup dns

now the site shows up without the www. like http:// mysite

its this a htaccess job, done a few sites but first time this as happend

if i do put the www. in it goes to the domain suppliers default page

It could be an htaccess job but does the site still work if you add on the www. part? When you first setup the name servers some urls will only work without the www. part for up to 72 hours. It just needs time to update itself.
