i have used an image to close a browser window and i have used

onclick="wclose()"

but i want a last confirmation message where the browsers usually ask if u wanna leave the site.it's not happening with this, how can i make it?

also how can i make an image button so that it clears the textfields, checkboxes and radio buttons when it is clicked (sort of cancel)

:rolleyes:

Well if you created the window, itt will not ask the message.
You need to use the confirm() method.......It is like an alert...search the site, sure you will find it

also the other question

onclick="FormName.reset()"

no it's not the window i do.it is just a web site that when the user clicks on exit they'll exit after confirming the usual message whenever it apperars when u existing a system.

It is extremely unclear what you're trying to do. Do you currently have a confirmation box at any point? When do you want this confirmation box to appear?

well i don't have an extra box which has the confirmation message. i am telling about the usual confirmation message that internet explorer gives when u try to exit from a page.

to sum up it is not an extra box but instead it is one of the pages that i am setting up for a site and it has exit button to exit from the site.

hope this makes it clear?
