Hello,
I started having problems to where few programs would run. I looked at the service list, and I realized the DCOM Server Process Launcher was *missing* (). So I guess I'm asking two things:
1. For anyone, even an amateur, to go to "MMC C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\SERVICES.MSC" on the command prompt, right-click DCOM Server Process Launcher, and paste up here what is in its "Path to Executable" box.
2. In the same window (MMC ...) to right-click Windows Management Instrumentation, go to the Dependencies tab, and tell me what is in the first box (This service depends on the following system components: ).
3. For someone who is comfortable with using sc to tell me how to *properly* add DCOMServ as a service (i.e. enumerate the type, error, group, and obj. Or, tell me any other advice you might have).
