My webstore provider / credit card processor offers some great tools for customizing the look & feel of my shopping cart but...
I much prefer the effect I can achieve by displaying the secure shopping cart within an iframe on my own page. I understand that this is perfectly safe, but how do I convince my users? In IE, right-clicking within the iframe and selecting Properties does indicate that the frame is secure. Mozilla/Netscape, on the other hand, *seems* to indicate the opposite although I see it as a matter of semantics (Mozilla indicates the *page* is not secure but says nothing about the iframe within the page).
Suggestions?
I currently show an italicized "security note" at the bottom of the page, below the iframe, with differing instructions for viewing the frame info dependant on the currently detected browser. I could add a suggestion that the user simply load the frame contents in a new window/tab if they prefer.
Any other ideas?
