How do I alter the css using the IE developers toolbar. Sorted: Can't be done!effpeetee 12-20-2007, 05:43 PM Apparently it is not possible to modify the css with this add-on to IE7. Frank Excavator 12-20-2007, 08:16 PM Hello Frank, I use the IE7 developers toolbar a lot because the DOM inspector shows a different view than FF's toolbar does. The IE one though, doesn't edit CSS or markup. If you have FireFox, get Web Developer 1.1.4 (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/60). It will let you edit both CSS and markup. effpeetee 12-20-2007, 09:12 PM http://codingforums.com/showthread.php?t=129867 I think you've been there before. This post has a site which is different in FFox and IE7. I have been trying to help but CSVista has let me down with this one. As my knowledge of CSS is very rudimentary, I wanted to use IE7's web dev program to alter the css to see if I could do any better. According to CSSVista, I had sorted it out, but it was not so. Well, If at first you don't succeed, try, try ....It's very trying. It seemed such a simple problem. Back to the drawing board. Frank |
