I have a few music videos that I currently have on a website as Real Media files and they stream in IE and Firefox. I was wondering if a better way was to encode them as SWF files.
I put a link directly to a SWF file and it seemed to stream and play fine in Firefox but in IE it seemed to download the whole file first before playing. I tried putting the SWf on its own html page and this seemed to work... it streamed in IE and Firefox.
Is this the best way to stream SWF files...embed each one in its own page html page or am I missing something?
thanks, Alex
