HTML with access database

Hi i have been asked to create a webpage that looks up data directly from a microsoft access database i have looked on google for how to do this and posted on other forums but still cant find out how to do it can anyone help me either by giving me an example or pointing me to a site that shows you how

if i am not able to use HTML is there anything what can i use and can somone give me an example or point me to a site that can show me how
