php problem

I am using a php code for which i am opening a window with a form using javascript window.open()....
That page too contains a button which when clicked submits a form and performs a job ......

but the problem is when i am clicking on the submit button another window is opening ??????????


Can anybody help me why ??????? or how i can submit the form to same window

Please paste the JS code (full function) you used for window.open() from the first window.

That's what window.open() does unless you specify which window you want to open to. Maybe you're looking for window.location()? In any event if you want any real help you need to post the code.

just dont understand what you need ? Your submit button with the "window.open()" script will open another browser window, that's the must. Do you mean when you click the submit button, your another scripts don't execute anymore ?? :confused:
