Music play contiuesly throughout site

hello,
in advance i am sorry for all spelling mistakes and if this is in the wrong section,

now my question,
i am building a website (in dreamweaver) for my friend and he said he wants some music to play through the whole website even when you change page without the music starting again

what i mean.
Go on site homepage|song starts playing
change page|song continues playing from where it was up to on the pervious page

i am not using frames,
can anyone help me.

do you know if there is anyway to do it without doing that?

In order to do that you would need some part of the browser windows that doesn't change. Either a popup as was suggested or use frames where one frame doesn't change.

Be warned though that most people don't like being forced to listen to sounds on a website. It ranks right up there with changing the browser size and controls.
