Think it may be javascript i need???

Hello, i use a script that is called by entering the following code onto a .html page and renaming it to .shtml

Ive seen other scripts that use javascrip to use the code on a .cgi page. So basically i need the code to display the banner rotation on a .cgi page, the above qont work as i cant name it .shtml.
