want to run a monthly crontab

I would like to run a monthly crontab on my server so that the script executes the first day of every month at midnight (the very second the new month starts I want to execute this script)

what would be the crontab set up?

Check your CP of your host for an interface to setup a crontab. The option to execute it monthly would be there!

Here you go, mate (quotes mine): "0 0 1 * *"
